MCW PROGRAMSTraining youth from around the world in social entrepreneurship, cultural competency, and conflict resolution by building the skills, confidence, and networks needed to make a difference in their global and local communities. Since 1999, MCW has held 11 youth leadership retreats. Developing sustainable community centers and IT training centers as spaces for youth empowerment, leadership and entrepreneurship promotion, learning, and exchange, with a particular focus on Africa. Since 2001, MCW has built centers in Arusha and Songea, Tanzania, Freetown, Sierra Leone and is working to establish a new center in Bugesera District, Rwanda. Go to Community Development... Addressing the needs of communities in Tanzania with limited access to care, through dental care outreaches, school-based oral health education, HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention traning with partner organizations, and helping hospitals acquire medical equipment and supplies. Working closely with a global network of friends, volunteers, and supporters from the public and private sectors to bring their collective resources to benefit youth worldwide. |
