Established in 2005, the Kipera community center is located in the village of Kipera in the Songea region of Tanzania, a forty-minute walk from downtown Songea. It sits on about 53 acres of land donated by the Songea district. The center offers courses in information technology (IT) and English language education, as well as early childhood education. On the site, there is also a secondary school, housing units for team leaders, a library to lend books and serve as a study area, community hall, and dental clinic to serve the community. |
