Programs > Community Centers > MCT Downtown Songea MIRACLE CORNERS TANZANIA (MCT) DOWNTOWN SONGEA COMMUNITY CENTER The Downtown Information Technology (IT) Center, established in 2007 is located in downtown Songea, it is the capital city of the Ruvuma region in Tanzania. It was made possible by grants and donations from Microsoft and the University of Pennsylvania’s CommuniTech student group. At the center, IT education courses are offered. Introduction courses on the Windows operating system, Microsoft Word and other programs from Microsoft Office are offered, as well as courses on internet and email use.
