Jacqueline’s Human Rights Corner, an MCW partner initiative, is raising funds to build a MCW community center in the district of Bugesera, approximately 30 minutes outside of Rwanda’s capital, Kigali. The center, which is reaching completion, will be modeled after MCW centers in Tanzania and Sierra Leone. The center will become a cooperative of young social entreprenuers offering various educational courses to the community, including computer-IT, English language, carpentry, tailoring, preschool, and radio. The center is set to open in late August.
